John takes us back into the Gospel of Mark today, beginning in Mark 6:1-6. Jesus returns to His hometown of Nazareth and is not only confronted by His own family, but the unbelief of the people. They were offended by His authority saying among themselves, "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?” They then ask three questions that John answers today: “Where did this man get these things? What is the wisdom given to him? How are such mighty works done by his hands?"
