Our prayer is to build a foundation of truth in our children's lives. We believe that our children can shake the future! They are immensely valuable and precious to God. Jesus said, "Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who send me; for he who is least among you all is the one who is great" (Luke 9:48) Jesus loved children. In Mark we read that "Jesus took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands upon them" (Mark 10:16). If we love kids like God loves kids, then we will bless, feed, and care for them. It is an awesome privilege to this because we are coming in line with the God's heart for children everywhere. It is also a sobering responsibility because, "it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble" (Luke 17:2)

We desire that Normandy Kids will be a place where our kids can come and celebrate the goodness of our God. We hope and pray that each child will encounter God through scripture memory, bible stories, worship, prayer and the weekly interactions with his/her teacher.  Our desire is to create an atmosphere that is fun, joyful, welcoming and glorifying to the Lord. We are really excited about all that the Lord will do as we pour our time, resources, energy and heart into the next generation. We know that when we "Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). Lets live in a way that the next generation will know Jesus even more than we do.

Serving with Normandy Kids

If you would like to serve in Normandy Kids, we are looking for teachers, assistants, and nursery workers. We are hoping for both men & women to serve at Normandy!  If you currently have a child in Normandy Kids, in is not required, but we would ask that you consider serving as a teacher, assistant, or nursery worker. Not only is it awesome to see and be a part of what your kids are learning, but its a great way to learn how to teach your kids the Bible. If you are interested in serving, please contact Sam Harvey.

What does each role look like?

Teachers  //  This is for people who really have a heart to serve and have a heart for children! Currently, the commitment is serving every other weekend with the same age group. There will be two teachers per age group, and they would switch every other weekend. This is only for 12 months and older.

Assistants  //  This is for people who also desire to serve and have a heart for children! We need assistants to work once a month with a consistent group of kids. Your role would be to support the teacher and help with supplies, teaching, singing, etc. This is only for 12 months and older.

Nursery  //  This is for people who love to hold and feed infants! There will be no designated teacher for the nursery, but you will have instructions on how to pray for and worship with the infants.
